As a political coach, I support politicians and leaders by developing their awareness of gaps between their intentions and actions, and challenging unconscious assumptions that create inconsistencies from stated values and behaviours. At the same time, I also help public leaders tap into their humanity which is vital to renewing the nobility of political service. The fast paced world of power politics places political leaders under immense pressure to do and say things they might not ordinarily do. Holding the political leader to their commitments so they speak and act in alignment with higher motives is a roll uniquely played by a political coach. Working within a highly confidential relationship is distinctive to my coaching programmes and so therefore, the relationship with my clients are very much confidential, unless the politician wishes to reveal so.
As an executive, leadership and political coach, I help clients make sense of and integrate the various advice they receive from others. Not by proposing a solution, but by helping them sort through what they are hearing, how they feel about it and what possibilities they want to choose. Political leaders are under constant pressure from a wide variety of interests and may become discouraged and lose sight of why they ran for office. The political coach supports them in such confusing times and helps keep their original vision for public service alive. The result of working with a political leadership coach is a more authentic and courageous political leader willing to boldly lead from higher ground.

I will coach you on who you want to become and what you want to accomplish. I will challenge you to expand your capacities. My incubator programmes will support you by developing your public speaking capabilities and how to deal with journalists, your voting public, being precise and charismatic. Public speaking doesn't come easy to everyone. Even former President Obama had a coach.
In order to convince the public to vote for you, you will need to be an effective public speaker. While getting as much practice as possible is important, you will also need to look good on stage during debates. Having a winning smile, warm demeanor, and conviction will help you to assure voters that you are the right candidate for the job. The next step is to suit up! Before getting up on the debate stage, you need to look the part. Make sure to be well-groomed and wear the right suit and tie or dress. Smart shoes are also important! People will start to analyze you as soon as you step into the limelight, so make a great first impression! The debate stage is not the only place where you might make a public appearance. You may also find yourself appearing on television and in the news, so be camera friendly. This means that you need to keep that winning smile and stay on high alert so that you don’t make any slip-ups in front of the media. Remember that politicians are treated just like celebrities and are constantly in the public eye. Make sure that you can handle talking to the press and prepare yourself for any scandals that they might try to stir up about you. One of the key ingredients to maintaining a great image is having a solid opinion. If you are sure of your beliefs, you will consequently instill confidence in your voter base. Not only do you need to have a clear stance on issues, but you also need to be prepared to defend your stance in the face of criticism.
