We have always maintained that young people don’t lack ambition, they lack clarity. They are creative, capable & curious beings, but often unsure how their talents translate into real careers. The BRUILT Creative Futures Forum bridges that gap.
What Is The BRUILT Creative Futures Forum?
The BRUILT Creative Futures Forum is an interactive keynote and panel experience designed to:
• Inspire creative confidence
• Demystify entrepreneurship
• Expand career awareness beyond traditional pathways
• Equip students with practical tools to turn ideas into action
We deliver a live, engaging, high-energy session that combines:
Keynote delivery
Young entrepreneur panel discussions or podcast-style interview
The BRUILT Ideation Sprint™
Live Q&A
Roundtable engagement with students
Students will be provided with tools but also a real-life example from a plethora of working professionals.
With live Q&As, students have real examples, hearing real stories & gaining real strategies from those who are successful in an area they may be curious about.
From DJ’s, authors, film directors, camera assistants, magazine owners, stylists, casting directors, animators, colour graders, art & prop masters, radio hosts, music video commissioners & more.

The world of work is changing.
Creative industries, digital platforms and entrepreneurial pathways are no longer just “alternative” routes. They are viable, thriving career ecosystems.
Students need:
• Real examples
• Real stories
• Real strategies
They need to see people who look like them and sound like them building meaningful careers.

Students are guided through a structured rapid-thinking framework designed to help them:
• Identify problems worth solving
• Develop creative concepts
• Think commercially
• Move from idea to clarity
The Sprint energises rooms. It transforms passive listeners into active thinkers. Teachers consistently describe it as one of the most practical and engaging parts of the programme.

Each forum includes 2–3 young creatives or entrepreneurs who share:
• How they started
• What challenges they faced
• How they navigated doubt
• Alternative creative career routes
• What they would tell their younger selves
This creates relatability, possibility and momentum.

Following the panel, students are invited into small-group roundtable discussions.
These sessions often extend organically beyond the scheduled time, as students seek deeper insight into:
• Gap years
• Audition preparation (including The BRIT School pathway)
• Discovering talents and gifts
• Balancing ambition with academic advice
• Creative industry roles beyond performance
When students choose to stay and continue the conversation, it signals something powerful: They feel seen.

• Increased student engagement
• Broadened career awareness
• Encouragement of entrepreneurial thinking
• Practical tools for idea development
• Positive representation within creative industries
• A memorable, high-impact enrichment experience

• 60–90 minute keynote + panel
• Half-day workshop
• Full-day enrichment experience
• Recorded sessions available for digital platforms

If your school is committed to equipping students for the future of work, particularly within creative and entrepreneurial pathways, the BRUILT Creative Futures Forum offers a structured, energising and impactful experience. Same forum. Three lenses.

BACKGROUND
Founder of BRUILT
Avril is an entrepreneur, speaker and facilitator dedicated to helping individuals realise their potential through structured growth and self-mastery. Her work combines lived experience, creative industry insight and practical frameworks to empower young people to think independently, act confidently and design meaningful futures.

Creative Director | Performer | Visual Storyteller
FROM DANCING FOR BEYONCÉ TO CREATIVE DIRECTOR
A graduate of The BRIT School and Bird College, Tajana began her career performing in London’s West End before joining global tours and international productions. She followed on from her career in the West End to becoming a dancer in Beyoncé's team, going on to perform in the Formation World Tour and has since transitioned into creative direction, working across music videos, live performance and commercial campaigns. Tajana brings students a powerful perspective on discipline, reinvention and evolving within the creative industries. Having navigated performance, international touring and creative leadership roles, she offers honest insight into what it truly takes to build and sustain a creative career. Her presence within the BRUILT Creative Futures Forum demonstrates that talent alone is not enough, but a good mix of structure, resilience and adaptability are essential.

Director | Creative Entrepreneur | Film Finance Specialist
A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Jordan has built a diverse creative portfolio spanning directing, marketing strategy and film finance support for independent productions. Jordan speaks to students about building multi-layered careers, showing how creativity and commercial awareness can coexist. His work behind the camera and within business development illustrates the breadth of opportunities within the creative ecosystem. Through the Forum, Jordan helps students understand that creative success is not limited to performance — it includes production, strategy, financing and entrepreneurial thinking.

The BRUILT Creative Futures Forum is led by a core family team of creative entrepreneurs, with additional guest creatives joining depending on theme and subject focus.
That way:
• We keep consistency
• We protect flexibility
• We avoid dependency
• We elevate the “curated experience” feel
